8:30 am Said Eucharist

10:00 am Sung Eucharist

Welcome to Trinity-St. Paul, Port Credit. We’re a community of radical inclusion - people of all ages, races, sexual orientations, economic circumstances and opinions are celebrated here.

Many people these days prefer the claim to being "spiritual" rather than "religious". Jesus can relate - while he did practice the Jewish faith, he tended to be hard on the religious elite, because we all know religion can get things wrong. But the Spirit gets things right, and that’s why we gather here - we gather around these crazy stories of Jesus (the meek shall inherit the earth? What???) to be changed by them - to be changed by love. Not just for the preservation of an institution, but so that we can all take part in the healing of our beautiful, broken world.

Come on Sunday for a quiet, Said Communion at 8:30 am, or for a Sung Eucharist at 10:00 am. Come and join in our exploration of these stories that touch us with divine love that’s so reckless, that it loves us just as we are, without demanding anything in return. Of course, the ironic thing is that when we’re touched by love, it tends to spread out from us, so love doesn’t seem to leave a void. Come and join us in a beautiful, liturgical sort of dance that unites us to people from the past, the present and the future, where we hear stories, pray for the world and sing songs of hope and renewal. Come in your jeans or your best suit - come as you are.

If you want to talk with me, please call me at 647-226-4519. We can talk about what church means, about weddings or funerals or baptisms, about gathering around a family member who is suffering, about pitching in to help the world become a better place, about doubt or fear or depression or anxiety or loneliness. Your story matters. Bring your flaws and your gifts. You don’t have to try to fit in - we want to enjoy the unique person you truly are.

We don’t pretend to have all the answers, but we explore the questions with all our hearts. One thing I can tell you for sure is that you are God’s beloved.
